Just Associates’ Megan Munns Receives AHIMA Rising Star Award

CENTENNIAL, Colo. – Sept. 29, 2014 – Just Associates, Inc., a nationally recognized leader in patient matching and health information data integrity and management, announced today that Megan Munns, RHIA, has received AHIMA’s Rising Star Award, one of 10 Triumph Awards given annually by the association.

Munns, a project manager with Just Associates, was recognized as a promising new professional who embodies the future of health information management (HIM). The Rising Star Award recognizes individuals who have been in the field for no more than five years and have demonstrated a commitment to HIM and a willingness to challenge traditions, take risks and think critically to envision the “big picture” and make decisions accordingly.

She is Epic-certified in Coding and Abstracting, Release of Information, Deficiency Tracking, and Identity. Munns holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics and Information Management from The College of Saint Scholastica and is an active member of AHIMA, HIMSS, and the Colorado Health Information Management Association.
