MedHOK Appoints Dr. Rahul Singal as Chief Medical Officer

TAMPA, Fla. – (Oct. 31, 2011) – MedHOK, a leading provider of cloud-based quality, care management and compliance software to the healthcare industry, has appointed Rahul Singal, M.D., as its Chief Medical Officer. In this role, Dr. Singal will provide oversight of the company’s product development, clinical strategy and customer support.

Prior to joining MedHOK, Dr. Singal served as president and CEO for WorldDoc, Inc., which provides member portals, integrated health risk assessments and consumer engagement for payers and purchasers of care. He also served as vice president and medical director of Southwest Medical Associates, a 100+ physician multi-specialty medical group and subsidiary of Sierra Health Services, a publicly traded Managed Care Organization.

Dr. Singal received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California and his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine. While in medical school, Dr. Singal also spent three years as a scientist in an HIV vaccine laboratory. He completed his residency training at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in Internal Medicine.
